December 5 is International Volunteer Day and we would like to pay tribute to the many volunteers who have worked with the National Justice Project on our offshore detention test cases before the Federal Court.
We would not have been able to progress our court action for asylum seekers and refugee families without the dedication of other human rights lawyers and social justice advocates.  Thank you to the many law students, pro bono legal professionals and other volunteers who have read through thousands of pages of discovery and helped prepare hundreds of court documents and filings in a long and complicated process.
There is still much work ahead of us with 40 more cases before the court.
We need your help to finish the fight.
Help support this vital work and make a donation during our 10 Days to Donate in December in the lead up to Human Rights Day on December 10.
