Graphic of child and title '4-year-olds at risk in detention'

Day 4 of 10 Days to Donate in December

Children as young as four years of age have been diagnosed with Traumatic Withdrawal Syndrome and many of the children detained on Nauru displayed symptoms of this rare but life-threatening condition.

The tiny children at risk on Nauru stopped eating, drinking and talking. They gave up on life. This is one of the reasons why the National Justice Project fought so hard to get #KidsOffNauru.

These traumatised children may never fully recover from the cruelty of offshore detention and that is why we are fighting for their health needs to be recognised.

We need your help to finish the fight.

Help support this vital work and make a donation during our 10 Days to Donate in December in the lead up to Human Rights Day on December 10.

Donations up to $4,000 today will be matched by our generous supporters! This means every donation made will have double the impact supporting those seeking justice.
